North Alabama Soccer Coalition

GOVERNANCE

The Huntsville Soccer Club is operating as the North Alabama Soccer Coalition (North Alabama SC). Our Club is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Per the IRS Determination Letter, North Alabama SC is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Club are also tax deductible.  

North Alabama SC has a Board of Directors, consisting of a President, 1st Vice President, 2nd vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Members-at-Large. Refer to the the Club's bylaws to see the specific duties and responsibilities of these positions. The main objective of this organization is to facilitate and sustain the efforts of the Coaching and Training Staff.

The General Manager and Director of Coaching oversee the coaching and training staff. Directors are chosen by the Board and reviewed on an annual basis. Directors conduct tryouts, form teams, recruit and assign coaches, develop and manage the training curriculum, and oversee coaching needs for all teams.

Note - Minutes of the Board are available for in-person inspection by active North Alabama SC members upon individual written request to the Secretary of the Board
